Race Preparation

Want to go racing? Don't worry we can help. Whether you want to dip your toe in the water and prepare a road car for standard class F.I.A. racing or go fully modified with a lightweight car, Goldsmith & Young can prepare it for you.
The Aston Martin Owners club (visit the AMOC website) run a full competition calendar of hill climbs, sprints and circuit race meetings both in UK and abroad, which the Goldsmith & Young racing team have been participating in for many years.

Currently we run our own lightweight fully modified fuel injected DB6, which is the only one like it in the world. We also compete in the only original DB4 GT Zagato racing today, known by it's registration number "73 GYL"

Circuit race tuition by a qualified instructor.
Over the years a number of our clients have asked where they can go to get more fun out of their cars, whilst not breaking the law. The answer is to take the car on track days organised by a number of specialist clubs such as Wheeltorque. If required, Gillian Goldsmith of Goldsmith & Young can provide track tuition. She is a fully qualified A.R.D.S. grade "A" instructor and has competed at a high level in many different Aston Martins over a number of years.
